Keep your Travel'R awning motor protected with this direct-fit OEM replacement cover. If your existing motor housing is cracked, faded, or broken, this is the correct right-side cover to restore function and appearance -- no cutting, no modification, no guesswork. Mounting hardware is included.
The motor cover on a Carefree Travel'R awning does more than look neat -- it shields the drive motor from road spray, UV exposure, dust, and rain. Over time, sun and vibration can crack or warp the original housing, leaving the motor vulnerable. Part R001328BLK is the factory right-side replacement, matched exactly to Carefree's Travel'R assembly.
Because this is a genuine Carefree of Colorado part, it snaps and fastens to the original mounting points without drilling or adapting. Screws are included so you can complete the swap with basic hand tools in a matter of minutes.
Engineered to Carefree factory specs for the Travel'R awning series. Mounts to existing attachment points -- no modifications required.
Specifically designed for the right (roadside or curb side depending on layout) motor end of the Travel'R awning arm assembly.
Molded in black to resist sun bleaching and match the standard Travel'R awning color scheme.
Comes with the necessary mounting screws so no separate hardware trip is needed to complete installation.
Part number R001328BLK is a Carefree OEM component -- not an aftermarket approximation. You get the correct tolerances, material grade, and color match that a generic cover cannot guarantee.
On a Carefree Travel'R awning, the motor is located at one end of the awning arm. Stand outside facing the side of your RV where the awning is mounted. The right side cover (R001328BLK) is on your right as you face the RV wall. If your motor is on the left as you face the RV, you need the left-side cover instead. When in doubt, check the part number printed or stickered on your existing cover before ordering.
This cover is designed for the Carefree Travel'R awning series. The Travel'R is a motorized RV awning line sold under the Carefree of Colorado brand. If your awning is a different Carefree product line (such as the Fiesta, Targa, or Spirit), verify fitment using your awning's model number before ordering, as motor cover geometry varies by series.
Before removing your old motor cover, photograph the existing wiring and hardware routing. The motor itself does not need to be disconnected for a cover swap, but confirming wire positions before disassembly prevents reassembly errors.
While the cover is off, inspect the motor mounting bracket, gear housing, and any visible wiring for wear, corrosion, or cracked insulation. A cover replacement is the ideal time to catch developing issues before they sideline your awning mid-trip.
