The EQ Systems 7514 is the OEM replacement for any plunger style leg switch on EQ Systems hydraulic leveling systems. Sold individually, the 7514 is the right choice when a single switch has failed and the remaining three are still in good condition.
Plunger style leg switches are mounted at the bottom of each jack leg cylinder. When the jack extends and the foot pad contacts the ground, the ground pressure mechanically depresses the plunger, signaling the control panel that the jack is down and load-bearing. When the jack retracts fully, the plunger releases, signaling the jack is up. A failed switch can cause incorrect position readings, Auto-Level faults, or prevent a jack from responding to retract commands.
The plunger switch is located at the bottom of the jack leg cylinder and activates mechanically on ground contact. It tells the control system whether each jack is extended or retracted. Common failure symptoms: • Control panel shows a jack as "down" when it is fully retracted • Auto-Level cycle does not complete or stops mid-sequence • System fault codes related to jack position • One or more jacks will not retract via Auto-Level command • Intermittent or erratic jack position readings on the control panel
The 7514 is for EQ Systems leveling systems that use plunger style leg switches. Not all EQ Systems leveling systems use plunger switches — some systems use pressure switches rather than individual leg switches on each jack.
