The EQ Systems 7093 is the OEM replacement kit containing four plunger style leg switches for hydraulic leveling systems. Leg switches are mounted at the bottom of each jack leg cylinder and tell the control system whether the jack is extended (touching the ground) or retracted. When a leg switch fails, the system may show incorrect jack position readings, prevent Auto-Level from completing a sequence, trigger false fault codes, or fail to retract a jack leg properly.
The plunger style switch activates mechanically when the jack leg extends and the foot pad contacts the ground, depressing the plunger. Because all four jack legs are subject to the same road vibration, contamination, and moisture exposure, replacing all four switches at once is the recommended practice — a failed switch is often a leading indicator that the remaining three are nearing the end of their service life.
Plunger style leg switches are located at the bottom of each jack leg cylinder. When the jack extends and the foot pad contacts the ground, the ground pressure depresses the plunger, signaling the control panel that the jack is down and load-bearing. When the jack retracts fully, the plunger releases, signaling the jack is up. Common failure symptoms: • Control panel shows a jack as "down" when it is fully retracted • Auto-Level cycle does not complete or stops mid-sequence • System fault codes related to jack position • One or more jacks will not retract via Auto-Level command • Intermittent or erratic jack position readings on the control panel
The 7093 kit is for EQ Systems leveling systems that use plunger style leg switches. Not all EQ Systems leveling systems use plunger switches — some systems use pressure switches rather than individual leg switches on each jack. Refer to your system's troubleshooting documentation or contact EQ Systems support to confirm your system uses plunger style leg switches before ordering.
