The BG-U12V-7G-EA Pro-Fill kit is a complete, universal battery watering solution engineered for a 12V bank made up of two 6V deep-cycle batteries -- the standard configuration found in most golf carts, RV house banks, and floor scrubbers. Instead of removing and replacing individual vent caps for each cell, you connect a single water source to the fill port and the system distributes water to every cell simultaneously, with automatic shut-off valves preventing overfilling.
The included Eagle Eye water level indicator gives you an at-a-glance visual of battery state before you even begin filling, so you know whether your batteries actually need attention or if the bank is already at the correct level.

Each automatic shut-off valve threads directly into the existing vent cap opening of every cell. The valves are interconnected with the included flexible tubing and manifolds, creating a closed network across both batteries. When you connect a water source -- a squeeze bottle, pump, or wall-mounted filler -- water flows through the network and into each cell. As each cell reaches the correct level, its float valve closes. Once all cells are full, flow stops completely. Disconnect the water source and you are done.
The fill port is typically mounted in an accessible location so you do not need to open a battery compartment door or remove any covers during routine watering. Most installations take under 60 seconds to complete once the system is set up.
This kit is designed specifically for a 12V bank using two 6V batteries wired in series. Each 6V flooded lead-acid battery typically has 3 cells, giving a total of 6 cells per bank. The kit provides valves and manifolding for all 6 cells. It is not intended for 12V batteries (which have 6 cells in a single case) or for banks with more than two 6V batteries -- see other Pro-Fill configurations for those applications.
Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic hand tools. No drilling of battery cases is required -- the shut-off valves thread into the standard vent cap openings. Route the tubing between cells and batteries using the included manifolds, connect the Eagle Eye indicator, and secure the single fill port in an accessible location. Flow-Rite recommends installing on fully charged batteries.
