Do not use this system with AGM, gel, or lithium batteries. Those chemistries are maintenance-free and sealed -- they have no fill ports and do not accept watering valves. This kit is for flooded lead-acid cells only.
Installation requires no special tools. The existing vent caps are removed and the Pro-Fill valves press or thread into each cell opening. The interconnect tubing snaps onto the valve fittings in a daisy-chain pattern. A single external fill port at the end of the run accepts the hand pump. Most users complete installation in 30-45 minutes.
Always use distilled or deionized water when filling flooded lead-acid batteries. Tap water introduces minerals that accelerate plate sulfation and shorten battery life. The Pro-Fill system meters the correct volume -- but water quality is still the operator's responsibility.
