Full-season, all-weather protection engineered specifically for Class A motorhomes in the 18-to-20-foot range. The UnitedCovers 5-Layer uses a five-layer top panel with a micro-porous breathable film to block rain, snow, UV, bird droppings, tree sap, and hail -- while still allowing trapped moisture to escape so you don't trade weather damage for mold damage.
Most RV covers use simple woven polypropylene. The UnitedCovers 5-Layer goes further. The top panel stacks four layers of polypropylene PLUS fabric around a central micro-porous film -- five layers total. The side panels use two polypropylene PLUS layers flanking that same micro-porous film. The result is a cover that sheds water on the outside while vapor pressure from inside moves outward, eliminating the moisture trap that destroys paint, seals, and decals over a storage season.
At 25 lbs and measuring 20.5 ft long x 8.92 ft wide x 10.08 ft tall, this cover is sized with deliberate overhang so the heavier top panel wraps down over the sides, giving the upper edges and roof-to-wall transitions extra protection -- a spot where cheaper covers consistently fail first.
Four polypropylene PLUS layers plus one micro-porous film layer. Blocks over 98% of dirt and dust. Reflects sunlight to keep interior temps down during storage.
Two polypropylene PLUS layers sandwiching a micro-porous film. Prevents rot and mildew while maintaining breathability on all four walls.
Adjustable buckle system with weighted buckles eliminates slack and stops billowing in wind. Elastic hems at front and rear corners lock the cover in place.
Heavy-duty zippered entry panels let you get into your coach without removing the cover. Reflective panels increase nighttime visibility around the parked rig.
The term "5L" refers to the five-layer laminate on the top section -- four polypropylene PLUS sheets bonded around a micro-porous film core. This film is the key: it has pores large enough to pass water vapor outward but small enough to block liquid water droplets from penetrating inward. That one-way moisture management is what separates a storage cover from a moisture trap.
Side panels use a 3-layer version of the same technology. They don't need the same thickness as the top because they shed water by gravity rather than holding it, but the micro-porous film is still present to manage condensation from within.
The slip-seam design contours to the squared-off profile of a Class A motorhome, reducing the sail area the wind can grab. The adjustable buckle system lets you cinch the cover tight along the lower edges without tools. Installation is a two-person job on a coach this size but does not require any special equipment.
A patch kit is included for field repairs. Small tears from branch contact or road debris during repositioning can be sealed quickly without needing a replacement cover. A dedicated storage bag is included for off-season storage of the cover itself -- keeping it clean and compact when your rig is back in service.
You can wash the cover by hand or in a washing machine. For hand washing, install the cover on your RV, rinse it with a hose, then use a cloth and multi-purpose cleaner to scrub. Rinse again and either towel dry or let it air dry.
For machine washing, use the largest machine available, set it to gentle mode, and wash with mild powder detergent in cold water—avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Rinse the cover twice to remove all detergent, and always air dry.
