The Camco Replacement Water Filter Cartridge - 10" utilizes the patented KDF media in conjunction with granular activated carbon (GAC) to provide superior filtering and protection from many contaminants. Fine mesh activated carbon provides safer, cleaner, better tasting water by filtering our contaminants including those that cause bad odor and taste. The EPA approved filter media, KDF, controls bacteria growth that may occur in standard carbon filters.
