The ICON 12080 is a direct replacement polycarbonate bubble skylight for RVs, travel trailers, and fifth wheels with standard 14"×22" rough openings. Old RV skylights yellow, crack, and become brittle over time — leaking UV, admitting heat, and eventually leaking water. Replacing with a fresh ICON skylight immediately restores the natural light in your RV's interior while providing far better UV performance and impact resistance than an aged original.
The smoke tint diffuses direct sunlight for a comfortable, glare-free interior while still admitting plenty of natural light. At 4" of bubble height, it provides a generous dome profile that resists water pooling and gives the skylight a classic, distinctive RV appearance.

Do NOT use self-leveling lap sealant with this skylight. Self-leveling sealants (such as Dicor and similar products) contain chemicals that react with polycarbonate and can cause catastrophic cracking and failure of the dome. Use only a non-self-leveling sealant compatible with polycarbonate — such as a butyl tape, non-self-leveling lap sealant, or a product specifically rated for use with polycarbonate plastic. Sealant is required for installation and is not included with this skylight.
ICON skylights are sized by two measurements — and both must be verified before ordering: 1. Rough Opening (Hole Size): The actual hole cut in your roof. This skylight requires a 14" L × 22" W rough opening. 2. Outer Dimension (Flange Size): The total outside dimension of the skylight including the mounting flange. This skylight is 18" L × 26" W. Measure your existing rough opening first. If you are replacing an existing skylight, also measure the outer flange of the old unit to ensure the new skylight covers the same area and any existing sealant marks on the roof.

Rough Opening Required: 14" L × 22" W hole in the roof. Sealant: Use a polycarbonate-compatible, non-self-leveling sealant or butyl tape around the flange perimeter. Self-leveling sealants will damage the polycarbonate dome — see warning at left. Orientation: No specific orientation required for a rectangular bubble skylight. Replacing an Old Skylight: Remove all old sealant from around the roof opening before installing. Ensure the opening is clean, dry, and free of debris before seating the new skylight.
