The ICON 01820 is the clear version of the 18"×26" rectangle skylight — a direct replacement for the most common rectangular RV skylight opening, the standard 14"×22". Do NOT use self-leveling lap sealant with this skylight. Self-leveling sealants (such as Dicor and similar products) contain chemicals that react with polycarbonate and can cause catastrophic cracking and failure of the dome. Use only a non-self-leveling sealant compatible with polycarbonate — such as butyl tape or a non-self-leveling lap sealant specifically rated for polycarbonate plastic. Sealant is required for installation and is not included with this skylight.

Rough Opening Required: 14" L × 22" W hole in the roof. Sealant: Use a polycarbonate-compatible, non-self-leveling sealant or butyl tape. Self-leveling sealants will damage the polycarbonate dome. Replacing an Old Skylight: Remove all old sealant from around the roof opening before installing. Ensure the opening is clean, dry, and free of debris before seating the new skylight.
