The ICON 12573 is an inner garnish — it installs on the interior ceiling of your RV to finish the inside of a skylight or vent opening. It is not a roof-mounted outer dome. This garnish fits both skylight openings and standard vent openings — making it versatile for finishing any 14"×14" ceiling hole, whether covered by an exterior skylight dome or a roof vent.
The ICON 12573 inner garnish provides a clean, finished appearance on the inside of any standard 14"×14" skylight or vent ceiling opening. Its standout feature is the trimmable height — at 7-1/4" maximum height, it can be cut down to match any roof gap up to 7", making it compatible with the full range of RV roof thicknesses from thin fiberglass shells to thick insulated ceilings. The ICON 12573 has three key dimensions to understand: Opening It Fits: Standard 14"×14" rough hole in the ceiling/roof Outer Flange (Ceiling): 16"×16" — the visible white flange on the interior ceiling surface Inner Opening: 13"×13" — the visible opening looking up through the garnish Height: Up to 7-1/4" — trim to match your roof thickness The garnish slides through the ceiling hole from below and the flange catches on the ceiling surface. Trim the height so the top edge meets the underside of the outer dome or the roof surface.
