JR ProductsUL/CSA Approved1/4" LP Gas HoseJR Products 07-31125 -- 1/4" OEM RV LP Appliance Hose, 60 Inches

This OEM-grade rubber LP gas hose is built to connect RV propane appliances to your coach's gas supply. At 60 inches long with a 1/4" male pipe thread on one end and a 1/4" quick-disconnect male fitting on the other, it covers a wide range of replacement and new-install situations. UL and CSA listed for LP gas service -- not a universal garden hose substitute.

The Right Hose for LP Appliance Connections in Your RV

Running a new propane appliance, replacing a cracked or hardened factory hose, or relocating a gas-fired device in your rig? The JR Products 07-31125 gives you 60 inches of flexible rubber hose built specifically for low-pressure LP gas service in recreational vehicles. It ships ready to install -- no field assembly required.

Both ends are pre-terminated: a standard 1/4" male NPT fitting threads into most RV appliance inlets and gas manifold ports, while the 1/4" quick-disconnect male end snaps securely into a compatible QD female receptacle on the coach side. That combination makes routing clean and service quick.

Pre-Terminated Ends

1/4" male NPT on the appliance end, 1/4" quick-disconnect male on the supply end -- no crimping or field fittings needed.

OEM-Grade Rubber Construction

Flexible rubber hose resists kinking and cracking through temperature swings common in RV propane systems.

UL and CSA Listed

Independently certified for LP gas appliance service, satisfying most campground and inspection requirements.

60-Inch Working Length

Five feet of hose provides enough slack to route around cabinet walls and still reach appliances set back from the supply port.

What This Hose Connects

This hose is designed for low-pressure LP appliance service -- typically the downstream side of the RV propane regulator. Common uses include:

  • Replacement hose for RV ranges, cooktops, and ovens
  • Quick-connect feed line for portable or built-in propane appliances
  • Extension or reroute hose when cabinetry or slide-outs require a longer run than the factory hose
  • New-install hose for aftermarket LP appliances added to the coach
Quick-Disconnect Advantage: The QD male end lets you disconnect the appliance from the LP supply without tools and without shutting down the entire coach gas system -- a real convenience when swapping out or servicing a single appliance.

Fitting Compatibility Notes

The 1/4" NPT male end is a standard US pipe thread that mates with most RV appliance inlet ports and brass tee fittings. The quick-disconnect male end requires a matching 1/4" QD female receptacle on the supply side -- verify your coach has a QD female port before ordering. If your supply line terminates in a standard flare or POL fitting, a QD adapter may be required.

Heads Up: This hose is rated for low-pressure LP gas (downstream of the regulator). Do not install between a propane cylinder and the regulator. Always pressure-test the connection after installation and check for leaks with approved leak-detection solution before lighting any appliance.

Installation Tips

  • Shut off the LP supply at the tank before disconnecting any existing hose.
  • Apply a small amount of gas-rated pipe thread sealant (not standard Teflon tape alone) to the NPT male threads before installation.
  • Route the hose clear of sharp edges, hot surfaces, and moving components like slide mechanisms.
  • After connecting, open the supply and test every joint with leak-detection solution or an electronic leak detector.
  • Inspect the hose annually for cracking, brittleness, or abrasion -- rubber LP hose has a finite service life.
Maintenance Reminder: LP rubber hoses should be inspected at least once per season. Replace any hose showing surface cracking, stiffness, discoloration, or physical damage -- even if it holds pressure.

Important Information
  • For low-pressure LP gas use only -- downstream of the coach propane regulator. Not rated for high-pressure tank-side installation.
  • Requires a compatible 1/4" QD female receptacle on the supply side. Confirm your coach fitting type before ordering.
  • Always leak-test all connections after installation using approved leak-detection solution or an electronic gas detector.
  • Do not use near open flame during installation. Ensure LP supply is fully shut off before disconnecting existing hose.
  • Inspect annually and replace at any sign of cracking, stiffness, or damage. Rubber LP hose degrades over time.
  • 90-day limited warranty. Warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, misuse, or use outside rated service conditions.
