The Lippert 799640 Entry Assist Handrail is designed to integrate directly with Generation 3 Triple and Quad SolidStep entry step assemblies. It mounts to either the left or right side of the step frame depending on your door hinge orientation, and stays attached to the step assembly even when stored -- so there's no loose hardware to track down and no assembly required each time you set up camp.
Height adjustment is handled by locking pins that let you dial in a 5-inch range of positioning, then lock the rail firmly in place during use. Whether you're tall or short, or you just want the rail positioned for a particular grip angle, the adjustment takes seconds and holds securely once set.
Installs on either side of the step frame to match your door hinge position -- left doorjamb or right doorjamb fitment.

This handrail is engineered specifically for Lippert Generation 3 SolidStep entry systems. It is compatible with both the Triple step (3-step) and Quad step (4-step) configurations in that generation. If your SolidStep is an earlier generation (Gen 1 or Gen 2), this rail will not be the correct fit -- verify your step generation before ordering.
The handrail accommodates entry doors up to 36 inches wide, covering the majority of standard RV entry door widths. If your door is wider than 36 inches, measure before purchasing.
Installation is straightforward using the included hardware. The rail bracket attaches to the existing SolidStep frame -- no drilling into the RV body is required. Mount to the left side if your door hinge is on the left doorjamb, or to the right side if the hinge is on the right doorjamb. Once mounted, the rail remains with the step assembly and does not need to be removed for storage or travel.
