Replacing RV awning fabric is a two-person job. The fabric attaches to the roller tube via a bolt rope or spline along the top hem, and the valance hangs free at the front. Most Solera, Dometic, and Carefree systems allow the roller to be removed from the arms for bench installation, which makes threading the new fabric significantly easier.
