This fabric is engineered to work with Solera, Dometic, and Carefree roller-style awning assemblies that use a 17 ft. awning. The fabric width of 16'1" is approximately 11 inches shorter than the awning assembly width -- this is normal and expected for proper installation with standard end caps.
Replacement awning fabric is sized to the assembled awning width, not the fabric roll. To find the right size, measure the end-to-end width of your awning assembly (from outside of one arm to outside of the other). A 17 ft. assembly takes this 16'1" fabric. When in doubt, measure twice -- this item is made to order and cannot be returned once purchased.
