In a standard RV two-stage LP system, the propane supply flows from the cylinder through a first-stage regulator (or a combined two-stage unit mounted at the tank), then through a high pressure hose into the coach. The 100383-36-MBS is intended for this segment of the system -- specifically the connection from the regulator outlet to the permanent piping entering the RV body.
LP gas hoses should be inspected at least once per season and replaced at the first sign of cracking, stiffening, abrasion damage, or when any soap-bubble leak test shows bubbles at a connection or along the hose body. Age alone is a valid reason to replace -- most manufacturers recommend replacing flexible LP hoses every 5 to 10 years regardless of visible condition.
