Stop buying disposable green cylinders at the campground. The MB Sturgis 103009-72-MBS lets you plug your Weber Q directly into your RV's onboard low-pressure propane system using a 72-inch quick-disconnect hose -- clean, convenient, and ready to cook in seconds.
Most Weber Q grills ship set up for the small 1-lb disposable cylinders -- fine at home, but expensive and wasteful on a longer trip. This MB Sturgis conversion kit replaces that setup with a 72-inch low-pressure hose that plugs directly into your RV's external quick-disconnect propane outlet, tapping the same tank that feeds your stove, furnace, and water heater.
The kit includes everything you need for the swap: the hose itself with a female quick-disconnect fitting on one end and the correct inlet adapter for Weber Q-series burner valves on the other. No extra hardware required for compatible models.
Six feet of reach keeps the grill comfortably away from the rig without straining the connection or creating a trip hazard.
Snaps onto your RV's standard low-pressure QD outlet without tools. Disconnects cleanly when cooking is done.
Pre-fitted adapter mates directly to Weber Q 100/200 and 1000/1200/2000/2200 series burner valve inlets.
Designed for use with RV two-stage regulator systems that deliver approximately 11 inches water column (WC) at the appliance.
RV propane systems run at low pressure -- roughly 11 inches water column -- after the two-stage regulator. Weber Q grills are designed to operate at this same low pressure when connected to a bulk supply. This kit bridges the two systems using the correct fittings so the grill's gas valve sees the pressure it was engineered for. Do not use this hose to connect to a high-pressure (unregulated) cylinder outlet.
This conversion kit is specifically designed for the following Weber Q series grills:
Check your grill's model number on the underside of the lid or in the owner's manual before ordering. Weber Q 3000 and Q 3200 series use a different inlet fitting and are not compatible with this kit.
This hose terminates in a standard female quick-disconnect (QD) fitting designed for RV low-pressure propane QD outlets -- the same type used for patio grills and outdoor appliances. If your RV does not already have an external QD outlet plumbed and installed, this hose alone will not be sufficient. A qualified LP technician can add a QD outlet to most existing RV propane systems.
This hose and adapter are rated for low-pressure RV propane systems only. Do not connect this kit directly to a full-pressure (unregulated) propane source such as a 20-lb grill cylinder without an appropriate two-stage regulator in line. Doing so will damage the grill's gas valve and creates a safety hazard.
