Marshall Excelsior350 PSI RatedMade in USAMER613-120 -- 3/8" Female Flare Swivel x 3/8" Female Flare Swivel Propane Hose, 120 Inches

A full 10 feet of flexible, UL- and CGA-approved LP gas hose built to handle the demands of RV propane systems. The MER613-120 gives you the reach you need to connect regulators, appliances, or external tanks without adapters or awkward routing, all backed by a 350 PSI working pressure rating and a 5-year manufacturer warranty.

Professional-Grade LP Gas Hose for RV and Propane Applications

The Marshall Excelsior MER613-120 is a heavy-duty liquid propane gas hose designed specifically for RV, camping, and related propane system applications. At 120 inches (10 feet) in length, it provides flexible routing between tanks, regulators, and appliances where a short pigtail simply won't reach.

Both ends terminate in 3/8" female flare swivel fittings, allowing the hose to connect without twisting the line -- a critical feature when making connections in tight compartments or at awkward angles. Swivel ends significantly reduce the risk of cross-threading and stress on fittings during installation.

350 PSI Working Pressure

Rated for up to 350 PSI working pressure, well above the typical RV propane system operating range of 10-15 PSI, providing a substantial safety margin.

Crimped Brass Ferrules

Both ends feature fully crimped brass ferrules for a permanent, leak-resistant seal that holds up to vibration, movement, and temperature cycling over time.

UL and CGA Approved

Approved by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and meets CGA (Compressed Gas Association) standards, confirming compliance with safety requirements for LP gas service.

Thermal Protection Included

The thermoplastic hose body includes thermal protection, reducing risk of heat damage in under-compartment or near-appliance installations common in RV propane setups.

Swivel Fittings -- Why They Matter

Both ends of the MER613-120 use 3/8" female flare swivel fittings. The swivel design allows the fitting body to rotate independently of the hose, so you can hand-tighten and wrench-tighten connections without spinning or kinking the hose. This is particularly useful when connecting to a fixed appliance inlet or a regulator outlet that does not rotate. Standard 3/8" SAE male flare fittings are the mating connection on the appliance or regulator side -- no thread adapters required for typical RV LP gas connections.

Full 10-Foot Reach: The 120" length is ideal for routing from an external propane tank or manifold to a grill, camp stove, heater, or generator. It provides enough slack to avoid sharp bends that can restrict flow or stress fittings.

Construction and Materials

The hose body is constructed from flexible thermoplastic, selected for resistance to LP gas permeation, UV exposure, and the temperature swings common in outdoor RV use. Unlike rubber hoses that can crack or stiffen over time, the thermoplastic construction maintains flexibility across a wide temperature range. The crimped brass ferrules at each end eliminate field-assembled compression fittings, which are a common source of leaks.

Made in the USA: The MER613-120 is manufactured domestically by Marshall Excelsior Company, a Michigan-based manufacturer with decades of experience producing LP gas regulators, hoses, and fittings for the RV and propane industry.

Typical Applications

  • RV propane system extension -- connecting bulk tanks to onboard regulators
  • External propane tank hookup for grills, camp stoves, and portable heaters
  • Connecting propane generators to an RV's main LP supply
  • Replacement for worn, kinked, or cracked LP gas hoses in existing RV setups
  • Extended reach in fifth-wheel and travel trailer propane compartments where tank-to-regulator distance exceeds a standard pigtail hose
Maintenance Tip: Inspect this hose at least once per season. Check the full length for abrasion, kinking, or cracking, and apply a soapy water solution to both end fittings after installation to verify a leak-free seal before use. Replace any hose showing physical damage regardless of age.
Not for High-Pressure Vapor Service Above 350 PSI: This hose is rated for standard LP liquid and vapor service up to 350 PSI. It is not intended for high-pressure industrial cylinder applications exceeding this rating. Confirm your system's operating pressure before installation.

Important Information
  • Maximum working pressure is 350 PSI. Do not use in systems exceeding this rating.
  • Always perform a leak test with soapy water at both end connections after installation. Never test for leaks with an open flame.
  • This hose uses 3/8" female flare swivel ends on both sides. Confirm your regulator and appliance inlets accept a 3/8" SAE male flare fitting before ordering.
  • Inspect the hose annually and replace immediately if any cracking, kinking, abrasion, or damage to the hose body or ferrules is found.
  • Not intended for use with natural gas systems unless explicitly rated for dual-fuel service. This hose is designed for LP (propane) gas service.
  • Keep hose away from open flame, sharp edges, and heat sources that exceed the hose's thermal protection range during installation and operation.
