A full 12 feet of OEM-grade rubber hose purpose-built for RV appliance gas line connections. This JR Products hose ships ready to install with a 1/4" quick disconnect coupler on one end and a 1/4" male pipe thread on the other -- exactly the configuration used in factory RV appliance hookups. UL and CSA listed for confidence on any inspection.
When your OEM appliance hose cracks, stiffens, or needs replacement after years of road vibration and temperature cycling, this JR Products hose restores the original connection without adapters or improvised fittings. At 144 inches (12 feet), it provides enough length to reach appliances in slide-outs, under-counter installations, or any run that a short connector simply won't cover.
The 1/4" inner diameter matches the OEM specification common to RV ranges, cooktops, furnaces, and water heaters that use the quick disconnect service fitting system. One end terminates in a 1/4" quick disconnect coupler for tool-free connection to the appliance service port; the other end is a 1/4" male pipe thread for connection to a regulator, manifold, or tee fitting in the coach gas system.
1/4" quick disconnect coupler mates directly to factory appliance service ports -- no additional fittings needed at the appliance side.
1/4" male pipe thread (MPT) on the supply side connects to regulators, manifolds, or tee fittings already present in most RV gas systems.
144 inches of hose handles slide-out appliances, long under-floor runs, and any installation where a short connector would be too restrictive.
Certified by Underwriters Laboratories and the Canadian Standards Association -- meets the listing requirements most RV service facilities and inspectors require.
This hose is designed for the low-pressure propane side of an RV gas system -- downstream of the two-stage regulator, where operating pressure is typically around 11 inches water column (approximately 0.4 PSI). Common applications include:
Thread the 1/4" MPT end into your gas manifold, tee, or regulator outlet using an appropriate thread sealant rated for LP gas service (yellow PTFE tape or liquid pipe thread compound). Snug the connection firmly -- do not overtighten rubber-bodied fittings. Route the hose away from sharp edges, exhaust sources, and moving parts. After connection, perform a leak test with soapy water or an approved leak-detection solution before relighting any appliances.
