The Cummins Onan 155-2850 is a straight 12-inch exhaust tube designed for use as a downtube extension on MicroQuiet KY, QG 3600 LP, and QG 4000 series RV generators. It is not a standalone tailpipe — it is used in conjunction with a tailpipe kit (such as the 155-2845) to extend the exhaust path when the RV sidewall is too low to allow the tailpipe kit to exit at its standard height.
The tube connects to the bottom of the generator mounting tray and extends the exhaust outlet further downward, giving the tailpipe kit the additional length needed to clear the RV floor structure and exit through the side of the coach. It can also be used on above-floor installations where additional exhaust routing length is required. The 12" tube can be cut to any shorter length with a pipe cutter to match the exact drop distance of your installation.

The 155-2850 is used in two scenarios: 1. Low RV Sidewall Installations: When using the tailpipe kit (155-2845) and the RV sidewall doesn't extend far enough below the generator tray to allow the tailpipe to exit at its standard height — add this tube between the tray bottom and the tailpipe kit to lower the exit point. 2. Above-Floor Installations: On installations where the generator sits at or above the RV floor and additional downtube length is needed to route exhaust to the side exit. The 155-2850 connects to the bottom of the generator mounting tray and serves as the adapter between the generator and the 155-2845 tailpipe kit. Multiple tubes can be combined to create additional length for deeper installations.
