The Specialty Recreation SL1518C is a direct replacement rectangular bubble skylight for RVs with 15"×18" roof openings — a less common size found on certain Class A, B, and C motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels. Measuring and confirming your opening is critical before ordering, as 15"×18" is easily confused with the more common 14"×22" or 14"×14" sizes.

The approved elastomeric sealant included with this skylight is specifically compatible with polycarbonate. Do not substitute self-leveling lap sealants (such as Dicor or similar) — these contain chemicals that react with polycarbonate and can cause cracking and failure of the dome.
