The Specialty Recreation SL1422S is the smoke black version of the most common RV rectangular skylight — designed for the standard 14"×22" opening found across a wide range of Class A, B, and C motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels. The smoke black tint reduces heat gain and diffuses direct sunlight, making living areas, bedrooms, and lounges more comfortable when the sun is overhead.
Thermoformed polycarbonate construction resists cracking and UV yellowing far better than original acrylic skylights. The approved elastomeric sealant is included for installation. Interior garnish is sold separately — see N1422 (white) or N1422D (clear bubble) for a matching interior piece.

The approved elastomeric sealant included with this skylight is specifically compatible with polycarbonate. Do not substitute self-leveling lap sealants (such as Dicor or similar) — these contain chemicals that react with polycarbonate and can cause cracking and failure of the dome.
The Specialty Recreation Inc. product warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for 1 year from the date of purchase. Warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation. Note: Some product listings reference a 90-day warranty term; Specialty Recreation's published warranty policy is 1 year.
