The Remco R660C is a heavy-duty 6-roller cast iron pump built for agricultural sprayers, turf care rigs, and PTO-driven spray equipment. With 19.6 GPM flow capacity, 150 PSI max operating pressure, and counter-clockwise shaft rotation, it handles demanding field applications. The Rebuild Ready design means worn rollers and wear plates can be swapped in the field without removing the pump from the vehicle.
The R660C is part of Remco's RollMax Series -- a line of roller-type positive-displacement pumps designed specifically for agricultural and turf spraying duty. Unlike centrifugal pumps, roller pumps maintain consistent pressure and flow across a wide RPM range, making them well-suited to PTO shafts, hydraulic motors, and engine-driven power sources that vary in speed with field conditions.
Six rollers in the cast iron housing deliver smooth, low-pulsation flow at up to 19.6 GPM and 150 PSI. The heavy cast iron body handles abrasive and chemical-laden fluids better than plastic-body alternatives, and resists deformation under sustained pressure. Ports are 3/4" FNPT on both inlet and outlet -- a common size that connects directly to standard sprayer plumbing without reducers.
High-volume output for boom sprayers, nurse tanks, and multi-nozzle spray rigs running at rated RPM.
Sufficient for most agricultural spray boom and broadcast nozzle configurations. Supports bypass-regulated systems.
Durable, chemical-resistant cast iron body handles fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides in continuous field use.
Rollers, wear plate, and end cap are user-serviceable in the field. No specialty tools required for routine rebuilds.
The R660C is specifically engineered for Remco's Rebuild Ready program. Replacement roller kits and wear plates are available separately, letting operators restore full pump performance without pulling the entire unit. For high-hour spray seasons, carrying a roller kit on the machine can prevent costly downtime.
This pump is configured for counter-clockwise (CCW) shaft rotation when viewed from the shaft end. This is the standard configuration for most PTO and engine-belt applications where the drive rotates CCW. Before installing, confirm the rotation direction of your power source. Installing a pump in the wrong rotation direction will not damage it immediately, but flow and pressure will be significantly reduced. If your application requires clockwise (CW) rotation, a separate model is available.
The R660C is also sold as the R660C-TAK, a complete PTO-ready kit that includes the pump plus mounting hardware, a drive shaft coupler, and the necessary bracketry for direct tractor PTO installation. If you are building a PTO-driven sprayer from scratch, the TAK bundle eliminates sourcing individual components. The pump itself (R660C) is the same unit in both packages.
Cast iron is compatible with most water-based herbicides, pesticides, liquid fertilizers, and surfactants. It is not recommended for highly acidic solutions, undiluted ammonia, or halogenated solvents. Always flush the pump with clean water after each use and before extended storage. If running corrosive chemicals, verify compatibility with Remco's chemical resistance data for the specific formulation.
