The Curt 22198 bearing protectors are designed to help extend the service life of trailer wheel bearings by maintaining lubrication and helping keep contaminants out of the hub. Each protector features a small grease reservoir that helps maintain pressure and keep the bearing lubricated during travel.
These protectors fit trailer hubs with a 1.98" bore diameter and install in place of conventional hub dust caps. The included plastic dust covers fit over the protectors to provide an additional barrier against dirt, moisture, and road debris.
