OEM foam replacement filter for Coleman Mach ducted ceiling assemblies. Non-allergenic, hand washable, and reusable. Single filter. 15" x 15".
The Coleman Mach 6798A3761 is the OEM replacement air filter for Coleman Mach ducted ceiling assemblies used with 8330, 8530, 9430, and 9630 Series air conditioners. Keeping the filter clean is the single most important routine maintenance task for any Coleman Mach AC โ a clogged filter restricts airflow, reduces cooling efficiency, and can eventually cause the evaporator coil to ice over.
Made from long-life non-allergenic foam, this filter is designed to be washed and reused rather than discarded, making it a cost-effective part of regular RV maintenance. Coleman Mach recommends inspecting filters every two weeks and cleaning as needed, or more frequently in dusty environments.
Hand wash with warm water and mild dish detergent โ no need to replace every season
Foam construction traps lint, dirt, and dust without triggering allergies
Genuine Coleman Mach part โ exact fit for 8330/8530/9430/9630 Series ducted ceiling assemblies
Clean filters prevent evaporator coil icing and maintain full airflow and cooling capacity
Cleaning: Hand wash with warm water and mild dish detergent. Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear. Drying: Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not reinstall a wet or damp filter โ moisture in the ceiling assembly can cause issues with the unit. Inspection Schedule: Coleman Mach recommends inspecting filters every two weeks and cleaning as required. In dusty or high-use conditions, check more frequently. When to Replace: Replace if the foam material becomes torn, deteriorated, or no longer holds its shape after washing.
Operating a Coleman Mach air conditioner without the filter in place allows unfiltered air to pass directly over the evaporator coil. This can cause rapid buildup of lint, dirt, and debris on the coil, leading to reduced cooling performance, coil damage, and costly repairs. Always reinstall the filter โ even temporarily โ before running the unit.
Inspect every 2 weeks during regular use, or weekly in dusty environments. Clean when visibly dirty or when airflow from the ceiling assembly feels reduced. Replace when: The foam is torn, brittle, or no longer returns to its original shape after washing โ a compromised filter allows debris to bypass and reach the coil. Keeping a spare filter on hand means you can reinstall immediately after washing while the other filter dries.
