The Specialty Recreation SL1824S is the smoke black companion to the SL1824W — a replacement rectangular skylight for RVs with 18"×24" roof openings. The smoke black tint reduces glare and UV heat gain while still admitting comfortable natural light, making it the right choice for living areas and bedrooms where direct overhead sun through an 18"×24" opening would be too bright or warm.

The approved elastomeric sealant included with this skylight is specifically compatible with polycarbonate. Do not substitute self-leveling lap sealants (such as Dicor or similar) — these contain chemicals that react with polycarbonate and can cause cracking and failure of the dome.
The Specialty Recreation Inc. product warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for 1 year from the date of purchase. Warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation. Note: Some product listings reference a 90-day warranty term; Specialty Recreation's published warranty policy is 1 year.
