The Specialty Recreation SL2222S is a smoke black replacement skylight for RVs with 22"×22" square roof openings — a larger square format found on Class A motorhomes and larger fifth wheels. At this size, a clear or white dome can produce intense overhead glare in living areas and bedrooms. The smoke black tint reduces that glare and cuts UV heat gain while still admitting comfortable natural light.
Same proven Specialty Recreation thermoformed polycarbonate construction: approved elastomeric sealant included, no metal flanges, smooth glossed surface for easy cleaning. The 25-1/2"×25-1/2" outer flange provides a 1-3/4" overlap on all sides of the 22"×22" opening. Interior garnishes for this opening (N2222 white or N2222D clear bubble) are sold separately.

The approved elastomeric sealant included with this skylight is specifically compatible with polycarbonate. Do not substitute self-leveling lap sealants (such as Dicor or similar) — these contain chemicals that react with polycarbonate and can cause cracking and failure of the dome.
The Specialty Recreation Inc. product warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for 1 year from the date of purchase. Warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation. Note: Some product listings reference a 90-day warranty term; Specialty Recreation's published warranty policy is 1 year.
