The Specialty Recreation Inc. product warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for 1 year from the date of purchase, when the product is used for its intended purpose under normal conditions. Warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation. Note: Some product listings reference a 90-day warranty term; Specialty Recreation's published warranty policy is 1 year. Specialty Recreation skylights are sized by two measurements — both must be verified before ordering: 1. Rough Opening (Hole Size): The actual hole cut in your roof. This skylight requires a 16" L × 26" W rough opening. 2. Flange Dimension (Outer Size): The total outside dimension of the skylight flange. This skylight is 20" L × 30" W. When replacing an existing skylight, also confirm the flange of the old unit is similar in size — the new flange must cover any sealant marks or weathered areas on the roof surface around the opening.

Use Only the Included Sealant: The approved elastomeric/urethane sealant included with this skylight is specifically compatible with polycarbonate. Do not substitute self-leveling lap sealants — these contain chemicals that can damage polycarbonate. No Metal Flange: The polycarbonate flange sits directly on the roof surface — no metal frame or mounting channel required. Interior Garnish: If you need a finished interior ceiling opening, the interior garnish must be ordered separately and must match the exact hole size (16"×26"). Replacing an Existing Skylight: Remove all old sealant from the roof surface before installing. The new flange must sit flat and clean for a watertight seal.
