The Specialty Recreation K1422ELP is a complete outer and inner skylight replacement kit for 14"×22" openings — providing both the roof-mounted outer dome (ice/cracked ice tint) and the interior ceiling garnish (white) in one matched purchase. The low profile designation means this is a very flat dome at just 1.5" height above the flange — the lowest profile available in the Specialty Recreation 14"×22" lineup, sitting nearly flush with the roofline for a sleek, modern appearance.
The ice outer dome provides the lightly textured translucent finish that diffuses light softly into the interior, while the white inner garnish maximizes light transmission through to the living space. Approved urethane sealant is included for the outer installation.
Ice (Cracked Ice) Outer: The roof-mounted outer dome has a lightly textured translucent finish — between clear and white in terms of light transmission. Provides soft, diffused natural light rather than the full brightness of a clear dome. White Inner: The interior ceiling garnish is white — maximizing the light that passes from the outer dome through to the interior space below.

The approved urethane sealant included with this kit is specifically compatible with polycarbonate. Do not substitute self-leveling lap sealants (such as Dicor or similar) — these contain chemicals that react with polycarbonate and can cause cracking and failure of the dome.
The Specialty Recreation Inc. product warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for 1 year from the date of purchase. Warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation.
