The Suburban Mfg 6287AEB is an OEM replacement access door designed for Suburban 4-gallon and 6-gallon SW model water heaters, in a radius-corner surface mount style. It's constructed from one-piece, die-formed, corrosion-resistant steel with a Tough Black baked enamel finish, and includes the integrated water heater mounting flange for a precise fit. Replace a worn, dented, or corroded original door with this direct OEM replacement while maintaining a clean, factory-installed appearance.
This door is a surface mount design and will extend about 1/4" out from the RV's exterior wall - it will not sit flush. It is not compatible with flush-mount applications where two pins exist on the door frame. Confirm the existing mounting style before ordering.
