Purpose-built to shield the front cap glass of the Coachmen Freedom Express Select travel trailer from road debris, gravel strikes, and vibration-related cracking. Each cover is custom-cut to the exact window profile -- no trimming, no improvising, no one-size-fits-all compromises.
Front cap windows on travel trailers take the worst punishment on the road. Highway gravel, road debris, and constant vibration flex can turn a hairline scratch into a full replacement job. The Trailersphere RV Shady RVSHDY31 is designed specifically for the Coachmen Freedom Express Select (model year 2025 and newer) to mount over the exterior glass and absorb impact before it reaches the window.
Unlike generic foam covers or improvised cardboard solutions, the RVSHDY31 uses a three-layer construction that stays in place at highway speeds, resists moisture intrusion, and conforms to the contours of the Freedom Express Select front cap profile.
Precisely shaped to match the Freedom Express Select front cap window -- no guesswork, no trimming required.
Marine-grade vinyl exterior, 3/8" neoprene foam core, and an inner facing layer work together to absorb road debris impact.
Outer layer resists UV, moisture, and abrasion -- built for exterior exposure during transit, not just storage.
3/8" closed-cell neoprene absorbs vibration and gravel strikes that cause stress cracks in front cap glass.
The forward-facing glass panels on travel trailer front caps have no protection from road spray, kicked-up gravel, or airborne debris. Most RV insurance claims for glass damage occur during towing, not in campgrounds. A cover like the RVSHDY31 mounts before departure and removes in seconds at camp -- making it one of the lowest-effort, highest-impact protection steps a Freedom Express Select owner can take.
The RVSHDY31 is cut specifically for the Coachmen Freedom Express Select with the front cap window configuration used on 2025 and newer model years. Window shapes and dimensions changed with the 2025 redesign. Do not order this cover for pre-2025 Freedom Express Select units -- the profile will not align correctly. Verify your model year before ordering.
