The Ventline BVB0601-00 is a genuine replacement gear motor for the Ventline Ventadome V2119 powered roof vent, providing the power that opens and closes the dome lid on command. It includes a pinion gear, a small gear that drives the vent's larger operating gear to lift and lower the dome. This is the correct part to replace a gear motor that's stopped running entirely; if the motor still runs but the dome won't open or close properly, the issue is more likely the separate plastic operating gear (part #BVD0121-00) rather than the motor itself. An offset bracket is included for installations that require it.
This motor powers the mechanism that raises and lowers the Ventadome's lid, not the separate exhaust fan that moves air through the vent.
