This panel is especially useful when the Freedom SW inverter/charger is installed in an equipment bay, cabinet, storage compartment, or other location where direct access to the main unit is inconvenient. It also supports the Freedom SW ignition lockout feature, allowing the inverter to shut down when vehicle ignition is not engaged to help prevent battery drain.

The Xantrex 808-9002 remote on/off switch is made for compatible Freedom SW inverter/charger systems, including Freedom SW 2012 and Freedom SW 3012 style applications. This is a simple remote on/off panel. It is not the same as the Xantrex System Control Panel used for deeper configuration, monitoring, and networked system control.

Connect the remote panel to the Freedom SW inverter/charger remote port using the included communication cable. Mount the panel in a dry, accessible location where inverter control is convenient. Xantrex 808-9002 is a basic remote on/off switch panel for Freedom SW systems. It does not provide the full monitoring, setup, and configuration functions of the Xantrex System Control Panel. For full Freedom SW system monitoring and configuration, verify whether the Xantrex 809-0910 System Control Panel or another compatible control accessory is required.
