The Xantrex 82-0123-01 Link Echo Charge is an auxiliary battery charger designed to keep a secondary battery bank charged from an existing charging source. The Link Echo Charge is installed between a primary battery bank that is receiving charge and an auxiliary battery bank that needs maintenance charging. It does not replace the main battery charger, converter, inverter/charger, alternator, or solar charge controller. Both battery banks should be the same system voltage and compatible battery type.
