Manual top-wind tongue jack for A-frame travel trailers, pop-ups, and utility trailers. 1,000 lb. capacity, 14" lift range, fold-down crank, worm-drive mechanism, E-coat corrosion protection. Bracket pre-attached. Sold individually.
The BAL 29020B is a manual top-wind tongue jack designed for A-frame travel trailers, pop-up campers, horse trailers, cargo trailers, and utility trailers. It handles the two most common hitching tasks: raising and lowering the trailer tongue to connect to or disconnect from the tow vehicle, and providing front-to-rear levelness adjustment when parked at a campsite.
The top-mounted crank folds down flat when not in use to keep it out of the way during travel. A worm-drive jacking mechanism prevents slippage under load — the jack holds position even if you let go of the crank mid-lift. Jack tubes are treated with BAL's E-coat process, a rust-inhibitive electrocoat that exceeds the ASTM 2,000-hour salt spray standard and can also serve as a primer for custom paint finishes. The mounting bracket is pre-attached and accepts 3/8" bolts for weld-on or bolt-on tongue installation.
• 1x BAL 29020B Topwind Tongue Jack (bracket pre-attached) Compatible BAL Accessories (Sold Separately): • 29050 / 29050B — Short Foot Pad for 1,000 lb. Tongue Jack • 29036 / 29036B — Swivel Caster for 1,000 lb. Tongue Jack
The 29020B is designed specifically for A-frame tongues — the V-shaped frame common on most travel trailers, pop-ups, and utility trailers. It is not compatible with straight-tongue or bumper-pull configurations that use a different bracket style. Also verify your trailer's tongue weight does not exceed 1,000 lbs. before ordering. For heavier applications, BAL offers 2,000 lb. and 5,000 lb. tongue jack models.
