Genuine OEM 90-degree exhaust tailpipe for Cummins Onan RV generators using 1-1/2" O.D. exhaust systems. Pipe only — clamp and hanger sold separately.
The Cummins Onan 046-00563 is a single 90-degree steel exhaust tailpipe for Cummins Onan RV generators specifying 1-1/2" O.D. exhaust — including the QG 5500/6500/7000 Series (HGJAA, HGJAB, HGJAC) and Quiet Diesel QD Series. The 8" drop routes exhaust vertically down from the generator compartment; the 53" run carries it horizontally to the RV sidewall exit. The long run suits larger Class A motorhomes where the generator sits well inboard from the sidewall.
"Without coupler" means the pipe has plain, unmodified ends — no slip-sleeve is pre-attached. A clamp (Onan 155-1015) and hanger (Onan 155-2174) are required to complete the installation and are sold separately.
Long-run geometry for larger Class A motorhomes — confirm both dimensions match your installation clearance before ordering
Standard pipe size for QG 5500/6500/7000 and QD Series — not compatible with older BGE/NHE/KV family generators which use 1-1/4" O.D.
Pre-formed drop-and-run geometry for standard below-floor generator compartment installations
OEM exhaust parts maintain the certified spark-arresting system and do not void the Cummins Onan generator warranty
The 53" run is fixed — if your sidewall exit is closer, order a shorter 046-series pipe. Overly long tailpipes increase exhaust back pressure and can reduce generator performance. Confirm both the drop and run dimensions against your actual installation clearance before ordering.
This pipe is 1-1/2" O.D., for QG 5500/7000 and QD Series generators only. Older Onan families (BGE, NHE, KV, NH RV) use 1-1/4" O.D. A mismatched connection creates a leaking joint that allows exhaust gases into the RV — a potentially fatal carbon monoxide hazard.
Backed by a 90-day limited manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Using non-OEM exhaust parts voids Cummins Onan warranty coverage and transfers liability for resulting damage or injury to the installer.
