The Ames BMX5RG Blue Max Liquid Rubber Waterproofer is a waterproofing coating & sealant that is water-based, strong, and highly adhesive. Its 1200% elongation makes it resistant to cracking & peeling. Perfect for waterproofing foundations, basements, roofs, floors & more.
- Suitable for masonry, cement backer board, ICF, wood, metal, and EPDM.
- Also doubles as a primer.
- Ensure your surface is clean and dry before applying.
- Remains tacky even after drying.
- Coverage:
- For use as a primer: 1 coat at 100 square ft per gallon.
- For use as a waterproofer: 2 coats required at 50 square ft per gallon.
- Wait time is 24 hours between each coat.
- May be painted over once fully cured (7-10 days). Top-coating with a high-quality latex paint is recommended.
- To apply to exterior walls, Ames Maximum Stretch top-coat is required to protect from UV exposure (not included).
