A Curt weight distribution hitch gives you stable, controlled towing by redistributing weight at the coupling point and leveling the entire vehicle-trailer combination. All weight distribution hitches use an adjustable shank to mount onto your vehicle's receiver hitch, letting you dial in the exact height needed for each trailer load. This replacement shank works with any Curt weight distribution hitch, whether you're replacing a damaged shank or want a deeper adjustment range than your current one offers.
The 2" horizontal shank is designed to fit any 2" x 2" trailer hitch receiver, making it a good match for most Curt Class 3, Class 4, or Xtra Duty Class 5 hitches. Holes in the vertical shank are spaced 1-1/4" apart with a 3/4" diameter, giving you a wide range of incremental height adjustment. Standing 12" high by 16" long overall, it provides a maximum rise of 10-1/4", or can be flipped in the receiver tube for a maximum drop of 6".
