SecureLatch ball-and-pintle hitch combines a 2-5/16" trailer ball with an auto-locking pintle hook for versatile heavy-duty towing. Rated for up to 20,000 lbs. GTW with a lunette ring and 14,000 lbs. when towing with the trailer ball.
The Curt 48410 SecureLatch combines a heavy-duty pintle hook with a 2-5/16" trailer ball, allowing one hitch head to connect to either a standard ball coupler or a compatible lunette ring. Its automatic locking system secures the primary pintle latch as the lunette ring is lowered into position, helping simplify trailer hookup.
The cupped pintle-hook design holds the lunette ring more tightly fore and aft to help reduce chucking and towing noise. When paired with a compatible SecureLatch slotted pintle mount, the hitch can also be adjusted vertically with one tool and without complete disassembly.
