Ready-to-use backup gate valve for leaky RV sewer valves. 3" pass-through, 4 bayonet prongs fit all standard 3" sewer fittings. 3-1/2" clear adapter shows tank contents. Sewer cap included. Black and clear. Ready to connect out of the box.
The Camco 39050 is a ready-to-use backup gate valve for RV sewer systems — designed to provide an immediate fix when the original factory dump valve is leaking or failing. Rather than attempting a full valve replacement in the field, the 39050 attaches directly to the existing 3" sewer outlet and adds a working gate valve downstream, restoring proper dump control without tools or fittings.
The built-in 3-1/2" clear adapter serves two purposes: it extends the valve away from the RV's sewer outlet for easier hose connection, and the transparent section lets you see when the tank is fully drained before closing the valve and disconnecting the hose — no guessing. Four bayonet prongs provide a secure, twist-lock connection to any standard 3" sewer fitting. The included sewer cap seals the outlet end when not connected to a hose for odor-free travel. Ready to use straight out of the box.
When the factory dump valve is leaking: 1. Close the existing leaking valve as best as possible 2. Attach the 39050 to the 3" sewer outlet — align the bayonet prongs and twist to lock 3. Connect the sewer hose to the outlet end of the 39050 4. Open the 39050 gate valve to drain the tank 5. Watch the clear extension — when flow clears, the tank is empty 6. Close the 39050 gate valve, then disconnect the hose 7. Replace the sewer cap on the outlet end for travel
• 1x Camco 39050 Gate Valve with 3-1/2" clear extension • 1x Sewer cap Related Camco gate valves: • 39051 — Gate valve without clear extension (compatible with 39050) • 39053 — Gate valve with 4 bayonet prongs and RV drain pipe connector • 39062 — Dual Flush Pro with built-in 3" gate valve and reverse flush
The 39050 is designed as a backup and quick fix for a leaking dump valve — not a permanent replacement for a failed factory valve. While it restores dump functionality, the underlying leaking valve should be properly repaired or replaced at the earliest opportunity. Always close both the factory valve and the 39050 gate valve before disconnecting sewer hoses to prevent accidental discharge.
