When the plug end of an RV power cord is damaged — cracked housing, burned contacts, or a physically cut end — this replacement plug restores the cord to service by wiring it onto the cut end of the existing cord. It is not a pre-wired adapter or extension; it requires the user to strip the cord wires and connect them to the plug's internal terminals.
The NEMA TT-30P is the standard 30-amp male plug used on most travel trailer shore power cords in North America — a three-blade configuration (two flat blades + one ground blade, arranged in a distinctive triangle).
