It inserts into any standard 60-degree cross-pin rod holder -- the cross-pin style is the horizontal pin that crosses through the top of the rod holder tube and is the most common style on fishing and center-console boats.

A cross-pin rod holder has a horizontal pin or bar across the opening of the tube. This pin is what the grill mount adapter locks against to resist rotation under load. The 60-degree angle refers to the tube's angle relative to vertical -- very common on gunwale-mounted and flush-mounted holders. If your holders have a smooth opening with no pin, this adapter will not secure properly.
