Give your RV propane setup the reach it needs. This 5-foot hose connects a 20 lb or 30 lb refillable propane cylinder to your RV or trailer propane regulator, or to an installed 4-port brass tee as an auxiliary propane supply. CSA certified with built-in thermal and excess-flow protection for safe, code-compliant use.
Whether you need to position a portable tank away from your rig, add an auxiliary supply to an existing system, or simply replace a worn hose, the Camco 59045 is a straightforward, durable solution. The 5-foot length gives you practical slack without creating a tripping hazard or excess coil near the burner.
The 1"-20 UNF male-to-female thread configuration is the standard connection used on most North American portable propane cylinders and Type 1 (QCC1) compatible fittings, making this hose compatible with the regulators and tee fittings found on the vast majority of RVs, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and campers.
Male 1"-20 x Female 1"-20 ends match nearly all portable cylinder valves and RV regulators sold in North America.
Handles the full output demand of typical RV furnaces, ranges, water heaters, and outdoor appliances simultaneously.
Internal safety devices shut off flow in the event of a fire or a broken gas line -- a critical safety feature for any propane installation.
Certified by the Canadian Standards Association, meeting safety standards required by most campgrounds, parks, and code authorities.
The Camco 59045 serves three common applications:
The 200,000 BTU/hr capacity is more than adequate for running a portable generator, outdoor camp stove, patio heater, or grill from your RV's portable cylinder supply. The excess-flow valve provides added protection when appliances are quickly disconnected.
The 1"-20 thread standard (also called POL Type 1 or QCC1 male on the cylinder side) is used universally on U.S. and Canadian portable propane cylinders in the 1 lb to 40 lb range. Both ends of this hose use this thread, so it will connect inline between two 1"-20 compatible components without any adapter.
This hose is rated for use on the low-pressure (regulator outlet) side or between a cylinder and a regulator at cylinder delivery pressure. It is not intended for high-pressure applications such as direct burner feeds without a regulator in the circuit.
Propane hoses should be inspected annually and replaced if the outer jacket shows cracking, hardening, or any sign of physical damage. Even a hose that passes a leak test may be degraded internally if it has been exposed to UV, ozone, or chemicals over several seasons.
