The Carefree of Colorado R001931-006 is a black replacement motor cover kit for compatible Carefree Altitude RV awnings. It installs on the right-hand motor side when standing outside and facing the RV.
The cover helps shield the awning motor assembly from sunlight, rain, dirt, dust, and road debris. Replacing a damaged or missing cover helps reduce the motor assembly's exposure to moisture and contaminants that may contribute to corrosion or electrical problems.
The two-piece kit includes the front and rear motor-cover sections. The sections snap together around the motor-side head assembly, so installation screws are not required.
Stand outside and face the side of the RV where the awning is installed. The side to your right is the right-hand motor side. This R001931-006 cover fits that right-hand motor side.
