The factory-matched control box assembly for Coleman Mach Heat Pumps and Mach 8 rooftop air conditioners. Pre-wired for optional electric heat strip installation, making it the correct choice for both cooling-only and heat-pump equipped rigs. OEM part number CMN9530A751, SKU 70-7415.
Replacing a failed or damaged control box in a Coleman Mach rooftop unit requires an exact OEM match -- aftermarket substitutes often lack the correct relay configuration for heat pump reversing valve control or heat strip enable circuits. The 9530A751 is the proper assembly for these applications, delivering correct low-voltage signal routing between your thermostat, compressor contactor, fan motor, and reversing valve.
The "heat-ready" designation means this control box includes the wiring harness provisions and relay positions to accept a Coleman Mach electric heat strip (sold separately). If you are not adding a heat strip today, the box still installs and operates normally -- the heat strip circuit simply remains unused until you choose to upgrade.
Designed specifically for Coleman Mach Heat Pumps and Mach 8 series rooftop units -- not a universal substitute.
Relay provisions and wiring harness connections included for optional Coleman Mach electric heat strip (sold separately).
Arrives as a pre-assembled control box -- no loose components to sort or solder before installation.
Matches OEM mounting pattern and connector positions for drop-in installation in compatible Mach units.
The control box is the central electrical hub inside the rooftop unit shroud. It houses the compressor contactor, fan relay, capacitor connections, low-voltage terminal strip, and -- on heat pump models -- the reversing valve relay. Heat, moisture, vibration from road travel, and power surges are the primary failure causes in RV rooftop AC control boxes. Symptoms of a failed control box include the unit not starting, the fan running but the compressor not engaging, or the heat pump not switching between heating and cooling modes.
This control box is pre-configured to accept a Coleman Mach electric heat strip assembly. The heat strip installs directly into the air handler section of the rooftop unit and connects to dedicated terminals in this control box. The heat strip is a separate purchase -- confirm the correct heat strip part number for your specific Mach unit model before ordering.
This control box is designed for use with:
If you are unsure whether this is the correct control box for your specific unit model number, cross-reference your existing control box part number stamped on the box label inside the rooftop unit shroud with CMN9530A751 / 9530A751.
This is a rooftop control box replacement only. Your existing low-voltage thermostat wiring connects to the terminal strip on this assembly the same way it connected to the original box. No thermostat re-programming or replacement is required as part of this swap.
The electric heat strip assembly is NOT included with this control box. "Heat-ready" means the box has the relay and terminal provisions to support a heat strip -- it does not mean a heat strip is included. Order the correct Coleman Mach heat strip separately if supplemental electric heat is your goal.
Always disconnect shore power and battery power before accessing the rooftop unit shroud. Capacitors inside the original control box may hold a charge even after power is removed -- discharge them safely before handling. Match all wire colors and terminal labels from the original box before disconnecting any wires. Photograph the original wiring before removal if your replacement does not include a wiring diagram.
