The Coleman Mach 8332-3301 is the OEM gasket installation kit for Coleman Mach rooftop air conditioners and heat pumps using the standard 14" x 14" roof opening. The gasket seals the interface between the rooftop unit's basepan and the RV roof surface, preventing water intrusion, air leaks, and road debris from entering the opening around the unit.
This kit contains all the components needed for a correct installation: a foam picture-frame gasket that surrounds the roof opening, a foam strip for additional sealing, and two leveling pads that support the portion of the basepan that does not sit directly over the picture-frame gasket. All pieces are one-sided self-stick adhesive for secure positioning during installation.

Do not use any liquid sealant, tube sealant, or silicone alongside this gasket kit. The gasket is designed to create a compression seal as the mounting bolts are tightened — adding sealants can interfere with proper compression and may cause installation problems. Apply the gasket dry, adhesive-side down, to a clean, dry roof surface.
Before starting: Disconnect all power to the vehicle. 1. Remove all old gasket material from the roof and basepan surfaces. The surface must be clean, dry, and free of sharp edges or burrs. 2. Position the picture-frame gasket adhesive-side down over the 14" x 14" roof opening, centered on the opening. 3. Place leveling pads (adhesive-side down) in the locations specified by your unit's installation instructions — they support the basepan section not directly over the gasket. 4. Lower the rooftop unit into place and secure with the four mounting bolts from the ceiling assembly mount frame. 5. Proper bolt tension is reached when the gasket's indicating tabs are pulled down even with the roof surface — do not over-tighten. 6. After the first week of use, check bolt tension and retighten if necessary. Refer to your specific unit's installation instructions for model-specific bolt torque and pad placement.
The roof gasket should be replaced any time the rooftop unit is removed and reinstalled — including after maintenance or service work. A compressed or previously used gasket will not reseal reliably. Do not reuse old gasket material.
