Part 2 of Dicor's Rubber Roof Coating System. 100% Acrylic Elastomer with MicroCell technology — lab proven to reduce heat transfer by 29%. 1 gallon, white.
Lab proven to reduce heat flux transfer from roof to interior by 29% — less demand on your AC
Substantially reduces thermal transmission from the hot roof surface to your RV ceiling
Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide reflect UV rays and heat off your roof and back into the air
Superior weatherability, flexibility, elongation, fire retardancy, and adhesion
The entire coating process — including Part 1 Cleaner/Activator application, rinsing, and both coats of CoolCoat — must be completed in a single day. Each coat must be dry to the touch before applying the next. Do not apply if rain, dew, or freezing temperatures are expected before the coating fully cures. CoolCoat will freeze and become unstable at temperatures below 32°F within 24 hours of application.
Preparation: 1. Complete Part 1 (RP-CRP-Q Cleaner/Activator) process and rinse thoroughly before beginning 2. Thoroughly mix CoolCoat contents for a minimum of 5 minutes prior to application 3. Use plastic sheeting to protect sidewalls and end caps — ensure plastic runs to the ground 4. Surface must be completely dry and frost-free before coating. Repair or replace any deteriorated substrates Application: 5. Apply by medium nap roller or brush 6. Apply a minimum of 2 coats at 1 gallon per 125 sq. ft. per coat 7. All surfaces must be uniformly coated and free from voids, pinholes, or blisters 8. Allow first coat to dry to the touch before applying the second coat Note: Cool temperatures and high humidity may slow curing. Do not apply if weather conditions will not permit complete cure before rain, dew, or freezing temperatures occur.

CoolCoat is Part 2 of Dicor's EPDM Rubber Roof Coating System. Both parts are required: Part 1 — RP-CRP-Q EPDM Cleaner/Activator — cleans and chemically prepares the EPDM surface for maximum adhesion. Must be applied and fully rinsed before CoolCoat. Part 2 — RP-IRC-1 CoolCoat — insulating acrylic elastomer coating. Applied in 2 coats immediately after Part 1 is complete. Skipping Part 1 will result in poor adhesion and coating failure.
