Low viscosity, fast-drying formula — simply spray on, let stand 15 minutes, then power wash off
Contains no petroleum distillates, harsh abrasives, or citric ingredients — safe for EPDM rubber membranes
This Cleaner/Activator is designed for use on the rubber roof surface only and may damage other exterior parts of the RV. Secure plastic sheeting over all sidewalls and end caps before applying. If Cleaner/Activator contacts any surface other than the roof, rinse immediately with water. Wear chemical-resistant gloves, splash-proof goggles, and rubber footwear during application.
Preparation: 1. Remove all heavy debris — dirt, leaves, pine needles, rocks — using a broom or air blower 2. Secure plastic sheeting over all sidewalls and end caps 3. Inspect roof for cracks — do not apply on pryable or brittle roofing Application: 4. Apply Cleaner/Activator using a Hudson-type agricultural sprayer or other means — leave roof damp 5. Allow to stand a minimum of 15 minutes to wet out and chemically react with the EPDM surface 6. After cleaning, the roof should appear white — this confirms the surface has been chemically altered Rinsing: 7. Rinse thoroughly using a minimum 2,000 psi pressure washer, using a 15" spray pattern 8. Begin at the lowest point and work upward, keeping the tip within 12" of the roof. Finish with a final downward rinse 9. Allow roof to dry completely before applying Part 2 coating Note: The entire project — Cleaner/Activator, rinsing, and two coats of acrylic coating — must be completed in one day.
This Cleaner/Activator must be paired with a Dicor Part 2 coating only. Do not use with other brands' acrylic coatings — the lock and key effect only works with Dicor formulations.
