This coating is formulated for fiberglass roofs only. Do NOT use on EPDM rubber or TPO roofing — use Dicor's EPDM or TPO-specific coating systems for those roof types. Apply to roof surface only. Cover exterior sidewalls, front, and rear caps with plastic sheeting before applying. If coating contacts any surface other than the roof, wash off immediately with soapy water.
1–2 weeks before coating: Reseal all fasteners and around all roof protrusions and vent mountings with Dicor's 501 Lap Sealant if needed. Surface Preparation: 1. Remove all loose dirt, oil, rust, chalk, mildew, and loose coating 2. Clean roof with Dicor Fiberglass Clean & Prep (RP-FCP-1). Rinse thoroughly and let dry 3. Abrade surface with fine steel wool or sandpaper to improve adhesion 4. Rewash with Dicor Fiberglass Clean & Prep 5. Cover all joints and seams with Dicor Coating Ready Cover Tape Application: 6. Apply un-thinned at 350 sq. ft. per gallon per coat by brush or roller 7. Apply two coats at right angles to each other. Allow first coat to dry fully before applying second (approximately 1–2 hours at 70°F / 50% humidity) 8. Allow 24 hours for full cure Do not apply below 50°F or when rain, cold, darkness, or high humidity are expected within 4 hours. At least 2 of those 4 hours should include direct sunlight.

Before applying this coating, the roof must be cleaned and prepared with: Dicor Fiberglass Clean & Prep — RP-FCP-1 Specifically formulated to remove oils, road grit, and contaminants and to enhance adhesion of the roof coating. Skipping this step will result in poor adhesion. Also recommended: Dicor Coating Ready Cover Tape to cover all roof joints and seams before coating.
