The entire process — Cleaner/Activator application, power rinsing, and both coats of Acrylic Coating (each dry to the touch before the next) — must all be completed on the same day. Do not apply if rain, dew, frost, or freezing temperatures are expected before the coating fully cures. Acrylic Coating will freeze and become unstable at temperatures below 32°F within 48 hours of application.
Prerequisites: Complete the Cleaner/Activator (RP-CRP-Q) process first and rinse thoroughly. The roof should appear white after rinsing — this confirms the surface has been chemically altered and is ready for coating. Preparation: 1. Ensure all surfaces are completely clean, dry, and frost-free — no residue, oil, grease, dirt, or loose particles 2. Repair or replace any deteriorated or damaged areas of the roof deck 3. Seal all cracks and seams with Coating Ready Cover Tape (RP-CRCT-4-1C) 4. Protect sidewalls and end caps with plastic sheeting 5. Mix contents thoroughly for a minimum of 5 minutes before applying Application: 6. Apply by medium nap roller or brush at 1 gallon per 125 sq. ft. per coat 7. Apply minimum 2 coats — apply second coat perpendicular to the first 8. Allow each coat to dry to the touch before applying the next 9. All surfaces must be uniformly coated with no voids, pinholes, or blisters 10. Clean equipment with water and a universal cleaner immediately after use
