Commercial single-function 12V hydraulic pump with manual override hand pump for EQ Systems AM Series 12,000 lb Gooseneck trailer jack systems. Pump only β jack leg and mounting brackets not included. PVC high-temperature nylon braid wire harness. For use with 4"Γ4" square tube-in-tube AM Series jacks.
The 7136KSUPS includes the hydraulic pump assembly, wire harness, and pump cover only. The jack leg cylinder, universal mounting brackets, and bolt kit are not included. This part is intended for replacing a failed or damaged pump on an existing AM Series jack installation, or for custom builds where the jack leg and pump are sourced separately. If you need a complete Gooseneck trailer jack system including the jack leg, pump, and mounting brackets, see the EQ Systems 8222FUPS AM 1/24 with Manual Override Hand Pump β the complete system counterpart to this pump.
The EQ Systems 7136KSUPS is the commercial single-function hydraulic pump assembly for the AM Series 12,000 lb Gooseneck trailer jack system. It pairs with the 4"Γ4" square tube-in-tube AM Series jack cylinder to provide 12V electric-powered lift and lower operation for Gooseneck trailer tongues.
Primary power is 12V DC electric, drawing from the trailer battery or tow vehicle. The built-in manual override hand pump provides a critical backup: if battery power is unavailable or the electrical system fails on the road or at a remote location, the hand pump allows the jack to be raised or lowered without any tools or external power β no wrench, no drill, no waiting for a jump. This is the key advantage of the AM Series hand pump over screw-drive manual override systems, which require a wrench or drill to operate.
The pump's PVC high-temperature nylon braid wire harness is engineered to withstand the harsh operating conditions typical of horse trailer, livestock trailer, and RV Gooseneck applications β UV exposure, temperature extremes, and the abrasion common in field environments.
Manual override hand pump requires no wrench, drill, or tools β operates the jack in any situation without battery power
Primary operation is 12V electric from trailer battery or tow vehicle β fast, smooth, repeatable lift and lower
Commercial-grade pump designed for the demanding duty cycles of horse trailer, livestock, and RV Gooseneck applications
Wire harness wrapped in PVC high-temperature nylon braid for durability in UV, heat, cold, and field environments
EQ Systems AM Series jacks are available with two different manual override methods. The override type affects how the jack can be operated if electric power is lost: Hand Pump Override (This Unit β 7136KSUPS) A small manually-operated pump handle provides hydraulic pressure to extend or retract the jack without electricity. No tools required β just pump the handle. Works immediately in the field, at a remote location, or during any power failure. Ideal for horse trailer and livestock trailer owners who may be far from services. Screw Drive Override (8107UPS / 8470UPS) A threaded shaft at the end of the motor provides mechanical override β a wrench or cordless drill is required to turn the shaft and manually operate the jack. Effective but requires having the right tool on hand. For users who prioritize self-sufficiency and field reliability β especially horse trailer and LQ trailer owners β the hand pump override of the 7136KSUPS pump is the more versatile choice.
The following are required for operation and are not included with the 7136KSUPS pump: β’ Dexron ATF hydraulic fluid β must be added before first use β’ Jack Mounting Bolt Kit #7227 β required to secure the jack leg to the trailer tongue; bolts are not included with the pump or with the jack leg β’ Jack Leg Cylinder β not included with this pump-only listing; the 4"Γ4" AM Series jack cylinder must be sourced if not already installed β’ Mounting Brackets β universal mounting brackets are not included with this pump; they are included with the complete 8222FUPS system Do not operate the pump without hydraulic fluid in the reservoir β running the pump dry will cause immediate damage.
Contents of This Listing: β’ (1) Commercial Single-Function Hydraulic Pump with Manual Override Hand Pump β’ PVC High-Temperature Nylon Braid Wire Harness β’ Steel Pump Cover NOT Included: β’ Jack leg cylinder β’ Universal mounting brackets β’ Bolt Kit #7227 (sold separately) β’ Dexron ATF hydraulic fluid β’ Wireless remote #7823 (sold separately)
If replacing a failed pump on an existing AM Series installation: 1. Relieve pressure first: Use the manual override hand pump to fully lower the jack before disconnecting any hydraulic lines 2. Drain fluid: Capture and dispose of hydraulic fluid from the reservoir before removing the pump 3. Disconnect harness and hoses: Label all hydraulic hose connections before removing to ensure correct reinstallation 4. Install replacement pump: Secure in same orientation and location as original; reconnect hoses per original routing 5. Fill with Dexron ATF: Refill the reservoir with fresh Dexron ATF before powering up 6. Purge air: Cycle the jack several times through full extend and retract to purge air from the hydraulic circuit Contact EQ Systems Technical Support at 800-846-9659 for pump-specific service documentation.
The 7136KSUPS pump is the same pump used in the complete 8222FUPS system. Choose based on whether you need to replace an existing pump or install a new complete jack system.
